MR. PHILLIP'S VISIT TO ICFP FOCUSES ON STRATEGIC PARTNERSHIP WITH ERASMUS
BAUCAU, 18 June – The Instituto Católico para a Formação de Professores (ICFP) in Baucau welcomed an official visit from Dr. Phillip Endicott, D.Phil., M.Sc., M.A., B.A. (Hons.), a researcher from the Institute of Economics at the University of Tartu, Estonia.
The important meeting focused on discussions regarding the development of international cooperation between ICFP and the University of Tartu through the Erasmus+ Programme.
During the meeting with ICFP Director, Brother Paul Gilchrist, FMS, and members of the Executive Committee, both parties discussed three key pillars aligned with the objectives and standards of the Erasmus+ Programme:
1. Joint Research – The implementation of scientific research projects in collaboration with European partners.
2. Capacity Building – Enhancing the academic quality, skills, and professional knowledge of lecturers and teaching staff.
3. Student Exchange – Promoting international mobility opportunities for ICFP students to study and gain experience abroad.
This visit marks an important step toward establishing a long-term partnership, as both institutions are preparing to formalize their collaboration through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in the near future.
